Magnetic Levitation Standard Track is 4' long and is made from wood and aluminum. Two magnetic strips inside the track are used to repel the magnets on the MAG-LEV vehicle. A 12VDC DC power supply is also part of the package and is shipped separately. There is a large "PUSH to start" button that will energize the track when the student wants to time his vehicle as it travels down the track. Safety glasses are required when operating the track. *Variable power supply requires 120VAC to operate.
