Soldering Station

Soldering Station w/temperature control - 40 watt, Low Cost.

We offer a variety of soldering stations for student use. This low cost model shown is a 40 watt station used at our design laboratory. Excellent for all types hands-on projects where electric circuit design is required. The variable temperature allows the user to solder both sensitive & robust components. The spring holder can be mounted on the left or right. The sponge & tub is generously sized. The iron's rubber grip is secure and remains cool to the touch. The power cord is a little on the less flexible side and as with all soldering irons the tip's retaining collar will loosen up and will require gentle periodic tighting. Various tip sizes and shapes are available and a conical fine tip is included. Overall I grade it a B+. Student tested tough.
